Standard Product Warranty

WARRANTY, DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Unless otherwise noted the Raycor R250 Stainless Steel Unit Heater (the “Product”) is covered by the limited warranty set forth in the following paragraphs.

The RAYCOR MECHANICAL SERVICES INC. (“RAYCOR”) limited warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of a new Product directly from RAYCOR or an authorized distributor of RAYCOR. For a period of twelve (12) months from the date of original delivery to Buyer, the Product is warranted to be free from the functional defects in materials and workmanship, provided it is operated under conditions of normal use and that repairs and replacements are made in accordance herewith.  This limited warranty shall not apply to any Product that has been disassembled, altered or repaired other than by RAYCOR (or by a RAYCOR certified technician) or if the Product has been subject to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident.

RAYCOR's sole and exclusive limited warranty obligation and Buyer's sole and exclusive limited warranty consists of RAYCOR, at its option, repairing or replacing free of charge Products which contain a defect covered by the above warranty which are returned to RAYCOR promptly after discovery of the defect and which are found to be defective by RAYCOR upon examination.  Buyer shall pay all shipping and transportation charges. 

RAYCOR's option to repair or exchange the Product under this limited warranty does not cover any labour or other costs of removal or installation.  IN NO EVENT WILL RAYCOR BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY INSTALLATION MATERIALS.  RAYCOR will not be responsible for any other incidental or consequential damages attributable to a Product defect or to the repair or exchange of a defective Product, all of which are expressively excluded from this limited warranty.  This limited warranty does not cover any liability for consequential or incidental damages, all of which are hereby expressly excluded, or the extension beyond the duration of this limited warranty of any other implied warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for an intended purpose to the extent allowed by law. 

This limited warranty constitutes the sole liability of RAYCOR and under no circumstances, shall the maximum liability of RAYCOR for any reason whatsoever (e.g. Defect, delay or otherwise) exceed the original purchase price of the Product paid by the original purchaser.
